The Yellow-headed Blackbird is accurately named as it boasts a deep yellow colored head and a jet-black body. While the female doesn't have full yellow head as the male's they still have yellow on their face. Their call is a squeaky crow that resembles gears that are too rusted. Living in mainly marsh habitats, they can be found foraging the ground for insects.
