The Warbling Vireo have a smokey olive coloration with lighter feathers underneath. Living in forests anywhere at sea level to 10,500 feet above sea level, Warbling Vireos can be found in trees looking for insects and catepillars in particular. To stun large prey, they forcefully smack the insect to supress their movements. They can also be found nesting near urban areas. 

VESR falls within the breeding zone of the Warbling Vireo.
