Sage Thrashers have brilliant vocal abilities and are even able to mimic other songs from birds. The speckeled patterning throughout the underside of the body and streaked brown and beige wings help to camoflauge the bird. They tend to thrive in areas of with widespread sagebrush and can be found foraging the ground for insects.
