The Mountain Quail can be spotted by two antenna looking feathers on the top of their head. With a grey neck and upper back and brown lower body, white markings can be highlighted on the wings and side of the face. They are largest quails in the United States and can be found in shrub habitats along mountains eating seeds, flowers, insects, and fruits.
