A mixture of gray, black, and white, the Loggerhead Shrikes will remain perched until prey catches their eye. Loggerhead Shrikes keep on the lookout for insects, small mammals, reptiles, and other birds for prey. Thriving on agricultural pests, they tend to be found in fields, pastures, and orchards, along with open woodland habitats.
