Boasting briliiant colors, the male Lazuli Bunting has a irridescent aqua head and wings with a pale orange and white underside. The female Lazuli Bunting also has the pale orange and white underside but has a brown head instead of the blue. They can be found in many different open habitats gleaning for insects within foliage.

VESR falls within the breeding zone of the Lazuli Bunting.
