The Hooded Oriole has a bright yellow-orange underside coloration that wraps around to the top of its head. The Hooded Oriole has black and white wings and tail which contrasts with the orange. Female Hooded Orioles have a muted yellow-orange coloration with brown wings. They eat insects off of branches and nest in trees. 

VESR falls within the breeding zone of the Hooded Oriole.
