Great Blue Herons are magestic birds that stands still or slowly wade in water to strike fast to capture prey. They have a subtle blue-grey plumage and in flight thier long legs trail behind their wingspand and tucked-in neck. These birds live in saltwater and freshwater habitats ranging from marshes, sloughs, riverbanks, and lakes.
