The Cassin's Finch can be found in forests searching for seeds on the ground and nesting in trees. Adult male birds have a muted magenta face, crest, and chest with brown wings while the female Cassin's Finches are white with brown speckles and streaks. These birds are on the watch from conservationist as their populations are declining.
