The Black-headed Grosbeak does have a black head as the name suggests. The bird also has a pumpkin-orange chest with black and white wings. The female Black-headed Grosbeak has this similar coloration pattern however the colors are more subdued. Living in forests and many different types of habitats, they can be seen nesting in trees and looking for insects on branches and leaves.
