The Black-billed Magpie eat a plethora of fruits, seeds, grains, and insects. They have also been observing eating the ticks off of large mammals. As they tend to correside their nesting with stream patterns, the Black-billed Magpie live in many meadows, grasslands, open woodlands, and sagebrush.
